Forest Frost NOTD

I picked up Revlon Emerald City at Target for $1.97! I know right super cheap. I love Target Clearance isles so much! The color is a forest green and it has very fine sparkle in it. I was shocked a little when I saw the color after I applied it on my nails. It was matte when it dried and left streaks with one coat. After I applied two coats it looked so much better and I even liked the mate effect. I did apply base coat (Beauty Secrets) and a top coat for a shiny effect. I was realty inspired to do a Christmas themed nails and grabbed my Milani Holographic nail polish and applied it on the tips. I didn't worry about making it neat because I added extra sparkle with Wet n Wild clear larger sparkles (kaleidoscope). I let it dry for a second and then applied a top coat (Seche Vite). I was worried it wouldn't dry completely for the whole day, but I tested it after 10 minutes and to my surprise it was dry!! today is day 3 and it still didn't chip till I started to put the ornaments on the tree and even then only one nail started to chip on the side. I love how it looks like frost on my nails. I think its an amazing combo for Christmas, now that only two weeks is left!!

Talking about Christmas I Have an Update for you guys I finally got out Christmas tree decorated and even the wreath! I'm a little interested to see what the cats are going to do when were sleeping, they have been good so far but one of them (Sammy) is notorious for biting cords so I'm a little worried. Any advice on how to break his habit?
Don't you guys love Santa?
He's my favorite besides the sparkly green ornament!!
Have you guys tried this color? Whats on your nails now that its two weeks till Christmas?

XOXO,
Sarah
